What is Maid Right?

Maid Right is targeted towards any residential real estate owners who are looking for quality residential cleaning services. You will identify and solicit residential cleaning customers for your Maid Right Business. Maid Right Businesses are typically operated from a car, van or truck and a home office. 

Initial Franchise Fee

$54,000-$60,000

In 2019, the range of the actual Franchise Fees paid by new franchisees was $54,000 to $60,000. The initial franchise fee (“Franchise Fee”) for a Maid Right Franchised Business is $60,000. The Franchise Fee is payable by wire transfer and generally must be paid in one lump-sum upon execution of the Franchise Agreement. You must pay an initial technology fee of $2,500 in one-lump sum upon signing the Franchise Agreement. The Initial Technology Fee is not refundable. 

Maid Right Franchise Cost:

The total investment necessary to begin operation of a MAID RIGHT franchise is $99,375 to $141,500. This includes $62,500 that must be paid to the franchisor or affiliate.

Below is a list of the costs that factor in the range of startup costs from $99,375 to $141,500.

  • Initial Franchise Fee: $54,000-$60,000
  • Vehicle: $1,500-$5,000
  • Real Estate and/or Leasehold Improvements: $0-$3,000
  • Non-Office Equipment & Supplies: $1,000-$4,500
  • Insurance: $2,000-$5,000
  • Signage: $3,000-$4,000
  • Computer Software: $275-$2,000
  • Office Equipment & Supplies: $500-$2,000
  • Technology Fee: $2,500
  • Grand Opening Advertising: $15,000
  • Training Expenses: $2,000-$4,000
  • Business Licenses or Bonds: $100-$1,500
  • Professional Fees: $1,500-$3,000
  • Additional Funds (3 months): $10,000-$30,000

Ongoing Franchise Costs and Fees:

Royalty: 6% of Gross Revenues*

Advertising: 10% of Gross revenue per month

Marketing Fund Contribution: 2% of Gross Revenues 

Weekly Technology Fee: $125 per week 

Payment: Royalties are due weekly on Tuesday

*Minimum Royalty: You must pay a minimum royalty of $140 per week beginning on earlier of (a) the date you begin operations or (b) 3 months after the Effective Date. The Minimum Royalty amount increases each year in years 1 through 5 up to $460 a week. 

Maid Right Sales Figures:

Maid Right does not disclose an item 19. Maid Right has not been operating for three years or more and cannot include all the financial statements required by the Rule for our last three years. 

Competition:

As a Franchisee, you will compete in a developed market with local businesses as well as regional or national chains of businesses offering similar services and products. Residential cleaning is a $50 billion industry which has seen 60% growth in the past decade. Maid Right, however, offers unique features among cleaning franchises.
